Mehrnaz Amouei

Industrial & Product Designer.

A Chicago-based industrial and computational designer, I work across product design, creative coding, and UX to build things that live in both physical and digital space. Inspired by nature, technology, and human interaction, my work explores biomimicry, sustainability, and future-focused solutions that push design beyond convention.

Industrial & Product Design

Physical products shaped by biomimicry, material research, and how people actually use things.

UX/UI Design

Interfaces for products that live in the physical world, from smart planters to coffee machines.

Branding & Logo Design

It involves building a strong, positive perception in the minds of consumers by combining elements like logo, design, mission statement, and consistent marketing.

Programming & VR/AR

Code as a design medium, from live-coded performance to VR narrative.

Hands-On Design

Furniture and objects built by hand, where the making informs the design.

ColorPaw

Cozy lounge for humans and an engaging playground for cats, featuring sustainable materials, colorful scratching fibers, and sleek acrylic design for a harmonious, modern living space.

Dinosaur Lamp

The Dinosaur Lamp is a playful and functional piece of nomadic furniture, featured at the “Re: Making Do” exhibition at Secrist Beach Gallery and Silverroom.

Reva Manifesto

Reva explores the tension between technology and tradition. It combines nostalgic elements, like wood and red wool, with futuristic PETG forms to symbolize the clash between the past and the future.
